R. Samuel Price, J.D., LLM

R. Sam Price, a seasoned estate planning, trust, and probate law attorney, stands out for his ability to demystify complex legal procedures for his clients. Certified as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, Sam leads Price Law Firm APC focusing on estate planning, trust administration, and probate. His contributions extend to heading the San Bernardino County Bar Association Estate Planning and Probate Section, organizing monthly educational initiatives for peers and spearheading the annual Probate Symposium. Furthermore, he reviews and reports on legislation through the Executive Committee of the California Lawyers Association’s Estates and Trusts Section.

Educationally, Sam’s journey began with a Business Administration degree from California State University, San Bernardino, followed by cum laude honors from Western New England College School of Law, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law. This specialized education not only sharpened his skills but also positioned him as an authority in estate and tax planning law.

Sam’s legal acumen has made significant impacts, notably inspiring an author client to base a character on him in her novel “Battle of the Wills.” Outside the office, Sam enjoys family time with his wife, Tiffany, and their son, alongside pursuing his culinary passions.

 

Dr. Regina F. Lark, PhD, CPO ®

In 2008, Dr. Regina Lark founded A Clear Path: Professional Organizing and Productivity. Regina is a featured speaker and educator on issues ranging from productivity, hoarding, and women’s leadership.

As a Certified Professional Organizer (CPO®), Regina is a specialist in boomer and senior downsizing, residential organizing, and life transitions. With an additional Certification in Chronic Disorganization, she works with clients who are challenged by ADHD, hoarding, procrastination, and time management.

Regina recently completed her first TEDx talk, and is the author of 2 books: Psychic Debris, Crowded Closets: The Relationship between the Stuff in your Head and What's Under your Bed (2017,3rd ed, and now available on Audible); Emotional Labor: Why A Woman’s Work is Never Done and What To Do About It (2021).

Dr. Lark earned her Ph.D. in history from the University of Southern California, writing a dissertation on interracial marriages between Japanese women and American GIs after World War II.

For fun she plays golf and tennis, and writes goofy songs about clutter.

 

Bruce Givner, Esq.

Bruce Givner has been practicing tax law for 47 years. He is a graduate of UCLA, Columbia Law School and the NYU LL.M (tax) program.

His first job was as the 7th lawyer with an Encino law firm named Flame, SANGER, Grayson & Ginsburg! Ginsburg became famous as Monica Lewinsky’s lawyer in the Bill Clinton scandal. What became of Howard Sanger??? Bruce still refers to Howard as his boss.

Over 150 of his articles have been published in professional periodicals including: the California Trusts & Estates Quarterly; the California Tax Lawyer; the California Journal of Tax Litigation; Bloomberg; and Leimberg.

His articles have been favorably cited by Tax Court Judge Nims in Fujinon Optical and Appellate Court Judge Elwood Lui in FTB v. Safeco.

He is the author of seven books for the California CPA Society and the American Institute of CPAs.

He is the editor or Co-Author of 21 chapters in CEB Treatises including: California Estate Planning; California Trust Administration; California Will Drafting; and Drafting California Irrevocable Trusts.

The biggest parts of his practice are: reducing, deferring or eliminating capital gains taxes, reducing or eliminating estate taxes, reducing or eliminating the tax on passive income reducing the tax on earned income, wealth preservation planning.
